faq
I recommend booking your session as early as possible to secure your preferred date, especially for maternity, newborn, and seasonal family sessions which often book out in advance.
For maternity sessions, aim to book when you are around 12–20 weeks pregnant so we can schedule your shoot for around 30 weeks. Newborn sessions are best booked early in pregnancy and are based on your due date, then finalised once baby arrives.
Family sessions can be booked year-round, but availability is limited during peak seasons (especially leading into Christmas), so early booking is always best to avoid missing out.
Yes — absolutely. Your partner and children are always welcome and included in all family, maternity, and newborn sessions. These sessions are designed to capture your whole family together, as well as individual moments if you’d like them.
I also have a client wardrobe available for mums, children, babies, and menswear options for partners, so everyone can feel comfortable and well-prepared for the session.
I keep a close eye on the weather leading up to your session. If it looks like rain, heavy cloud, or unsafe conditions, we’ll reschedule your session to the next available date that works for both of us.
We usually make the final call 24–48 hours before your session, as forecasts can change quickly here on the coast. My goal is always to give you the best possible light and experience, so we won’t proceed in poor weather conditions.
Don’t worry — rescheduling due to weather is completely normal and part of shooting outdoors, especially in NSW.
My client closet is a curated collection of beautiful, high-quality outfits available for you and your family to use for your session at no extra cost.
It includes pieces for mums, babies, and children, as well as menswear options for partners, so everyone is considered when planning your look. The wardrobe is designed to photograph beautifully and take the stress out of deciding what to wear.
You’re welcome to use as little or as much of it as you like — whether that’s just one outfit or styling the whole family. I also offer private styling appointments to help you choose and coordinate everything ahead of your session, so you feel completely confident and prepared.
Your full gallery will be delivered within a maximum of 30 days after your session.
Once your gallery is ready, you’ll receive a private online viewing link where you can view your images and select your favourites. You can then choose to upgrade your collection if you’d like to add more images.
If you need your images sooner, a rush editing service is available to have your full gallery delivered within 3 business days for an additional fee.
